Board Diversity Policy
ComfortDelGro’s Board Diversity Policy, which focusses on ensuring an appropriate balance and mix of skills, knowledge, experience and gender, has been in place since 2019. The Policy forms the basis upon which the Board is chosen and assessed, and is designed to foster constructive debate and achieve effective decision-making in the best interests of the Group, all the while ensuring that there is no groupthink and bias. All Board appointments and re-appointments are assessed based on merit and due consideration is given to a candidate’s suitability in strengthening the diversity of skills and experience to the Group, including the tripartite aspects of government, labour and industry.
The Board Diversity Policy also serves as a foundation for the Group in so far as recruitment and human resource policies are concerned.
